Our Battle of Camden Revolutionary War Reenactment celebrates its 50th Anniversary with new management, (a newly formed 501c3 all volunteer non-profit) and a new location, 1208 Keys Lane, Kershaw, SC, 16 miles north of Camden, SC. This annual event is the largest Revolutionary War reenactment in the Southeastern U.S. and the fourth largest in the nation. Hundreds of reenactors, living history demonstrators, Sutlers, (18th C. purveyors and merchants), come from as far as the Midwest, New England, and the Deep South to portray military and civilian 18th C. living history. Open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7th and 8th, 2020. FREE PARKING.
The flash/BOOM of cannon and crack of muskets, the smell of campfires and black powder, the spectacle of 18th C. military and civilian dressed reenactors, the art of age old craftsmen plying their trades and amazing shopping opportunities for unique gifts… all await you and your family with Kershaw County’s long-standing tradition, as our new and improved Battle of Camden Reenactment. With our anniversary year, we have had an overwhelming response from our reenactor community. You will not want to miss out on this family-orientated and friendly, outstanding event and experience!
RWFD has been issued an event exception by the State of South Carolina to hold our event because of our commitment to Covid-19 precautions in place. As part of this commitment, we have this online ticketing option that will also streamline the entry into a "no-touch" system. As an additional encouragement for online ticket sales, these pre-event ticket sales are offered at a discounted price from gate ticket sales.
